A concert to celebrate St.Davids day at St.Davids Hall, Cardiff - featuring Bryn Terfel & guests with the BBC Wales national orchestra. We created a sea of daffodils, 1500 to be precise, & also provided a high sheen gloss black stage which was lit by Martyn Rourke. This was broadcast on S4C, as well as BBC Radio 3, Radio Wales & Radio Cymru.

A warehouse style light entertainment look was requested by OMA for this set. We created this using open edged aluminium steel deck in high sheen black gloss & upright truss elements incorporating retro style lighting around the room provided by Martyn Rourke LD.

A very traditional Christmas studio set. White trees, star cloth, Santa's shed, snowmen, white Chesterfield sofas for the audience & plenty of snowy dressing. This white out set was lit by Andy Cottey.

How to Build a Hospital Ward? The end of July saw us designing & building a full hospital ward, corridor, nurse's station & offices including a radio studio for Stwnsh's new comedy soap opera to be aired later this year.

A new chat series for Rondo Media presented by John Hardy, involved the design of an intimate space in which to talk to guests about their life experiences. It was produced by Beth Angell & Aled John, with Lighting design by Aled Ellis.

Yet again the Gigl series travelled to Bangor, this time in a much reduced sized venue of the Bangor railwayman's club.

A family musical drama for Christmas, set in & around a high school - this part of the show was the school production 'Paris in the Snow'!

A new stand up comedy series to be aired in the New Year recorded in Cross Hands & lit by Andy Cottey. The show was produced by Little Lamb Media.

GIG '50' - Cymdeithas Iaith - The Welsh Language Society - We designed a glasto-style event celebrating the 50 years of the society for Rondo Media - the design included a links studio in the campsite which came from a huge Teepee structure, a backstage interview area, acoustic stage & stages A&B for the main bands. All took place over a weekend in Pafiliwn Bont in West Wales & was produced by Aled John.

The latest incarnation of Noson Lawen - a long running series for S4C - We brought a theatrical twist to the show, which kicked off its run in Cardigan this month with lighting by John Penny

We were involved in the second successful year of Cariad@Iaith as it was shot yet again in the beautiful setting of Fforest Farm Cardigan by Fflic TV - Dressing the Teepee for the live final, which was won this year by Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas! 

A new quiz which is based on the lighter side of the internet & web content. Broadcast on S4C during April & May 2012. Recorded in Rondo Media's new studio space in Caernarfon, produced by Beth Angell & directed by Aled John.

In March we designed the set for a new Friday night live entertainment show 'Pen8nos' for Tinopolis Television in Llanelli, this was part of the 'Jacpot' design that we worked on in February. Lighting was by Tim Routledge.

The new Jacpot quiz show for Tinopolis TV was recorded last weekend to slot into the new live TX of S4C's Friday night show Pen8nos!

Christmas came to the Galeri in Caernarfon at the beginning of December with the Christmas Tudur Owen special. This will be aired over the Festive season with Very special guests.

A travel based quiz show, where contestants battle it out in the studio to win a holiday of a lifetime, only to be joined in the final round by an ex-pat who is playing against them to return to the UK. An LED led show supplied by Anna Valley & lighting designed by Martyn Rourke.

TUK TUK - The end of August 2011 was a busy period for Scott-Callaghan & Prop Art! We dressed a marquee at Gwdihw Bar for their Rum & Cigar night, there they had a lady rolling cigars to go with their rum! A pilot for 'Disney' Europe (more to follow)....& then a viral commercial for yet more rum - the 'Bacardi' brand's latest launch of their spiced rum that involved a wet beach location (Merthyr Mawr) that was meant to be Calofornia, an Ostrich, & a 'Tuk Tuk' all the way from the exotic climes of an indian restaurant in Derbyshire.....phew!!

The re-design of the set for the Wedi 3 studios in Llanelli, the afternoon daily magazine show for S4C. Produced by Tinopolis & commissioned by Richard Collins & Huw Williams, the brief was to give it a lift, making it brighter & more contemporary in its style. We used coloured perspex within the window spaces to inject vibrancy & light.

The Tudur Owen Show - chat and comedy set with guests & audience participation. The brief from Tudur was to design an 'American' style chat show set, but with a Welsh mountain landscape through the windows - Cwmni Da Television for S4C.

Before X-Factor Wales had the Wow Ffactor! Here is the set for the final show where the judges decided a winner!

The set for a 'one plus one' weekly current affairs programme for Cwmni Da. This set was then also used for an Arts discussion programme creating a more informal chat area with the use of eclectic furniture & a coffee tables.

BBC Wales Rugby based quiz show to coincide with the 6 Nations - made up of a comedy panel of 3 guests from Wales & 3 guests from the opposing side, presented by Gabby Logan for Presentable TV.

Traditional style variety show for S4C in the historic Coal Exchange Building in Cardiff Bay.

This was the chat & link Studio for the Welsh harp, poetry & dance competitions.

A chat show set with curved projection backing, the audience was also set in the round for this show for Boomerang TV.

The reconstruction of Hut 9 in Bridgend, where German POW's escaped during World War 2. In the interior we replicated the artwork copied from the original hut, & also raised the set to include the tunnel entrance. This Drama documentary was for Channel 4 & produced by Hartswood Films.

8 Part Drama set in West Wales - The location was a disused garage which we turned back into a fully functional car showroom for the story - I based the design on the US Route 66 theme to tie in with the 'Cowboys & Engines' reference! Produced by Opus TV.

A Christmas concert for a reality based TV show in the Coal Exchange, Cardiff Bay. Celebrities had to learn how to sing & perform in a concert, with proceeds going to a local charity. Produced by Apollo TV.

Easter Special of the S4C program 'Bandit', a 13m x 4m projection screen was rigged as a backdrop for the band on a music show for Boomerang TV using a 3 projection system provided by Stage Sound Services. The system comprised of three Panasonic PT-D10000 projectors, and a Catalyst V4 Media Server projecting onto a translite blue BP Screen.

The main performance stage for the Welsh harp, poetry & dance competitions. The backdrop was made up of windows with a catalyst system to create the images.

Chat show based in Caernarfon hosted by the comedian Tudur Owen, with guests, pranks & audience participation for Alfresco TV. The wrap around backdrop was made from an exhibition system that collapsed & folded back down into small transportable cases.
